Joe, Jim and Sam

Yesterday evening I travelled to the Silver Tassie in letterkenny with a number BNI colleagues to attend an interview with Jim McGuinness, hosted by Letterkenny Chamber.

The event was very well attended and the interview, conducted by Chris Ashmore, was truly inspirational.

Jim’s casual style is very easy to listen to and is packed full of nuggets of useful advice for all of us from homemakers to business people, students to parents.

His vision, energy and clarity of thinking are refreshing.

FOUR KEY WORDS:             COMMIT              FOCUS            BELIEVE          ACHIEVE

He identified a way in which all of us can help the Donegal Senior Squad and that is by helping to secure quality employment for some of the players, who are well qualified and who, if it weren’t for their commitment to Donegal football, would probably be in lucrative roles, most likely abroad.

It behoves all of us to do what we can to secure suitable and rewarding employment for these lads who sacrifice so much for the county.

Let’s make it happen!!
